Maui kids grow up surrounded by some of the most beautiful and wild terrain in Hawaii — from the West Maui Mountains to the valleys above Hana. Hawaii Survival School's multi-day daytime summer camp for ages 7–13 gives them real skills for that world: friction fire, primitive shelter building, wild food foraging, and traditional survival knowledge rooted in Hawaiian culture, with safety and genuine adventure built in. Private group camps are available on Maui.

This isn't a craft camp or a supervised activity hour — kids leave with practical knowledge and confidence they can carry into every hike, beach day, and outdoor adventure on the Valley Isle.
