Lānaʻi is one of Hawaii's most unique environments — remote upland forest on the Munro Trail, dry coastal terrain, and an island small enough that everyone knows the land and its limits. With no trauma center and limited emergency infrastructure, practical skills matter here. Hawaii Survival School offers private group training on Lānaʻi for residents, workers, and groups, as well as public courses at our Oahu North Shore base.
Remote Island Conditions
The Munro Trail and Lānaʻi's upland areas are genuinely isolated — injuries or emergencies in the interior mean waiting a long time for help to arrive. Wilderness First Aid certification gives Lānaʻi residents and outdoor workers the skills to manage those situations confidently while help is on the way.
Private Group Training Available
Hawaii Survival School travels to Lānaʻi for private and custom group sessions — ideal for families, teams, school groups, or any organization that wants hands-on training tailored to the island's specific terrain and conditions. Get in touch to discuss your group's needs.
