Island Survival Skills Training Adventure (4 Hours) — Big Island
The Big Island's terrain is unlike anywhere else in Hawaii — active lava flows, dense rainforest in the Hamakua Coast, remote Puna backcountry, and alpine conditions near Mauna Kea. This 4-hour Island Survival Skills Training Adventure teaches friction fire, primitive shelter construction, wild food identification, and core island survival tools in a way that's directly relevant to the Big Island's unique conditions. Private group training is available on-island; public courses run at our Oahu North Shore base.
Families, outdoor groups, and Big Island residents who spend time in the island's remote areas will gain practical skills rooted in Hawaiian tradition — how to work with what the land gives you when modern infrastructure isn't an option.
